Well, the fake good start didn't last long.

JG and his minions are trying hard to make it clear that DC Studios is different than DC Films and that Joker2 doesn't have the DC logo. lol

But none of that matters when you said that you gave notes (e.g., Joker2), made changes (e.g., Flash's cameos) and promoted DCEU and elsweworld content (e.g., Flash, BlueB, Penguin). JG even said that BlueB isn't the first DCU film, but he's the first DCU character. He bought the CR docu and he probably had to kiss Matt Reeves' arse for Penguin. lol

All those characters are DC characters. As the co-CEO, you can't do all that stuff and then cherry pick a bought docu and an elseworld show you didn't make and say DC is off to a good start just because they have good RT scores. JG's DC started when he decided to change things in films he didn’t really make. All those films flop. So bad start.

But pretending and lying are really JG’s thing. Now he's pretending he did a lot in the two years that he's co-CEO of DCS. lol He forgot that while GOTG3 was in post (starting May 2022), he was working on the script for PeaceM2 (S02 greenlit Feb. 2022) and SM25 (hired to write it Aug. 2022, some say Apr. 2022). He became co-CEO Nov. 1, 2022.

JG: Don’t leave out picking up the incredible Super/Man: TheChristopherReeveStory which is releasing into theaters tomorrow! Get your tickets here: fandango.com/super…

He forgot to mention canceling CW's SM show, providing unsolicited notes to Todd Philip, making changes to the last DCEU films, go out of his way to promote DCEU films, especially The Flash by saying it’s one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen. rofl

Funny-looking SM suit and a talking dog. thinking

WB(D) never learn. lol Twice they decided to change plan and it didn't work. Now they want Battison to be part of this (so far) ridiculous-looking film.

They saw the MCU's success and decided to fast-track a film with DC's Trinity. CapA3 made a billion while BMvSM didn't.

They saw the success of DeadP1 and decided to change SS and JL into a comedy.

Battison won't fit in SM25. Everything in TBM looks dark/serious and is as realistic as possible. There is no comedy and it looks like a film for theater. SM25 is colorful and fantastical. It's supposedly fun and so far it looks like a film for streaming. lol

Interestingly, and perhaps as courtesy, Gunn saw the movie at the same time as De Luca and Abdy, according to a source.

"Todd had Joker in full swing by the time we came onboard - I've watched and given notes, but it is mostly with WB, where it started. Everything foward in live-action we're involved with."

"With all due respect to them, this is kind of a Warner Bros. movie.

"Yeah. No, they had nothing to do with the movie."

Phillips balked and would only liaise with De Luca and Abdy. And he has done little to dispel the appearance of friction, even though Gunn and Safran were on hand for the first director’s cut screening for the studio.

This reminds me of what Ben Affleck said about JG. rofl

We knew this way before DeadP3 was released. Apparently, HC already signed. It was said he won't be Wolverine or Dr Doom. Wolverine was a one-off.

Geeks are trying to figure out the character HC will play ever since.

Christopher Nolan's 2026 Movie Announcement Proves He's Done With Warner Bros. (For Now)

Christopher Nolan made his first studio effort, "Insomnia," at Warner Bros., and called the big house in Burbank his home for close to a decade. What changed? The Covid pandemic and then WB production chief Jason Kilar's decision in 2020, via his Project Popcorn initiative, to release the company's entire slate for the year day-and-date in theaters and on its HBO Max streaming service.

Nolan scorched Kilar and WB at the time, saying, "Some of our industry's biggest filmmakers and most important movie stars went to bed the night before thinking they were working for the greatest movie studio and woke up to find out they were working for the worst streaming service." Nolan's 2020 film, "Tenet," got a full theatrical release after multiple delays on August 26 of that year, but the public's reticence to sit in theaters as millions continued to die from Covid crippled its box office.

Regardless of Kilar's rationale, Nolan was furious and took his next project, "Oppenheimer," to Universal. Upon Kilar's dismissal, Warner Bros. Discovery honcho David Zaslav and the studio's new production heads, Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, mounted a charm offensive to bring Nolan back into the fold. Alas, last week Nolan announced that he would make his next feature at Universal.

Nolan swears this isn't the case. In a November 2023 interview with Variety, the filmmaker said his animus with his former home studio was "water under the bridge," and that he was "absolutely" open to returning to WB under the new management. But he's sticking with Universal for now (with a project that is believed to be an adaptation of Patrick McGoohan's classic sci-fi TV series "The Prisoner," which he's had in development for years), and if a recent report is true, it's not hard to see why.

According to industry insider outlet Puck, De Luca persuaded Zaslav to cut Nolan a seven-figure check as a sign of good faith. Really? This doesn't sound like De Luca, who's long been known for being one of the most talent-friendly execs in the business (dating back to his protective shepherding of PT Anderson's career at New Line in the late 1990s); if he wanted to send a message of goodwill to Nolan, a seven-figure donation to Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project would've made more sense. Or maybe he could've convinced Zaslav to release finished, yet shelved-for-tax-write-down movies like "Batgirl" and "Coyote vs. Acme." Puck also added that neither De Luca nor Abdy were granted access to the script for Nolan's movie before Universal grabbed it.

Screenrant: Warner Bros. Spite: The Real Reason Behind The Barbie vs. Oppenheimer's Box Office Battle Reportedly Revealed
Oppenheimer and Barbie are set to battle it out at the box office this July, and a new report suggests Warner Bros. Discovery may have scheduled the latter film out of spite.
Puck reports that Warner Bros. Discovery apparently scheduled the Gerwig movie on the same day as Nolan's as a "middle finger" to Universal. Nolan broke ties with Warner Bros. in 2021 after publicly criticizing the company's move to a day-and-date release strategy for much of its 2021 slate, and the company is reportedly not too pleased with Universal's new collaboration with the filmmaker.

THR: Why No One Will Get Fired Over ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’
According to one source, the ending of the first movie’s original script featured Phoenix’s Joker carving his face in front of a crowd of his supporters. But The Dark Knight filmmaker Christopher Nolan killed that idea, believing that only his Joker (Heath Ledger) should carve his face. But Nolan is no longer at the studio, and thus there was no resistance to the idea this time around.

De Luca and Abdy have been able to strike deals with auteurs like Anderson and M. Night Shyamalan, but Zaslav's presence at the top is still a cause for concern from many A-list directors. Some directors feel he can't be trusted, so they're waiting to see how he handles Anderson's latest movie, especially after the historic flopping of his personally approved "Joker: Folie à Deux." Zaslav has a reputation for pettiness and pridefulness. Factor in Nolan's reportedly warm relationship with Universal chief Donna Langley, and the time just didn't seem right for a WB homecoming.

Joker2 is breaking records. A 81.3% second weekend drop, the biggest for a CBM in history. It's #4 in the top 10 in its second weekend.

As always, JG's minions posted something so JG can reply that Krypto won't talk. lol He really can't let peeps find out they were wrong when they watch the film.

BTW, according to a JG minion, the account @jamesgunn.bsky.social is a JG account on a platform called BlueSky.

WBD*cks should really leave CN alone. lol Maybe what happened to Joker2 isn't entirely caused by the curse. Maybe CN has a vengeful guardian angel. lol

Joker1 was a huge success, because WB respected CN's wish about the carve.

Releasing Barbie the same day as Oppenheimer out of spite, created BarbenHeimer, which made R-rated Oppenheimer a huge success. So WBD*cks plan backfired big time. lol

Joker2 is a gigantic flop, because WBD*ck let Todd let Joker carve his face out of spite. lol

And when you use your platform to guilt the world about your country's issues, you should do the same for other issues in the world. You can't say you're doing things about those other issues offline. No, the world wants to know what the hell you’re doing about other issues in the world. If you want to use that offline trick, then don't include the whole world in your country's crap.

Now you can't separate the citizens from the government without being harassed by Israelis, Palestinians, Ukrainians or Russians either. These people think that everybody should hate whoever they hate or are at war with.

Well, news flash! That's not going to happen. They better imprint that very hard in the part of their brain that store long- and short-term memories.

Recently, some Ukrainians feel they can harass everybody who refuse to consider all Russians horrible people. Putin and his followers should be thrown into prison for life, not all Russians.

One of the main reasons why Ukraine couldn't join the EU is because its governments were considered corrupt. Some politicians are pro Russia and some are not. Should the world consider all Ukrainians corrupt people or Russian arse worms? Of course not. Should the world expect Ukrainians to go to war with the corrupt government. I hope not. A lot of people will die in a civil war. The corruption should be dealt with in a different way.

So Ukrainians should remember all that whenever they feel an itch to start harassing people who's sensible enough to separate the citizens from their f*cked up government.

And yes, lots of "problems" have to be solved to stop the war and to prevent future wars. Unsolved problems led to war. The war is the escalation and the horrific part of all the unsolved problems like corrupt politicians, some pro/some against NATO/EU membership, some pro/against Russia, controversial agreements with Russia, aggressive Russian separatists and so on.

Ukraine could have been part of NATO, but some Ukrainian politicians claimed in 2007(?) that Ukraine would not join as long as the public continued opposing the move. So we're talking referendum and the people's choice. Now Ukraine is desperate to join. Russia already said that will lead to nuclear war. So a problem that will pull all the citizens of NATO/EU into the war. Should everybody start hating Ukrainians because the majority kept voting against NATO membership before the war?
